How is Online Coaching different from In-Person Training?

Online Coaching offers flexibility and a holistic approach that in-person training often can’t match. Instead of working around a trainer’s schedule, you can complete personalized workouts on your own time, wherever you are—whether that’s at home, in a gym, or while traveling.

After 8 years of in-person coaching, I’ve seen how many clients focus solely on the work inside the gym. Online Coaching shifts the focus, empowering you to take ownership of your fitness journey. It combines workouts with lifestyle and mindset coaching to support sustainable change, far beyond the 60-minute session.

Where is the accountability aspect if it’s online?

Accountability is built into every aspect of Online Coaching. You’ll have regular check-ins with me to review your progress, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate wins. You’ll also have access to ongoing communication through my app, where you can message me or send videos for form checks, so I’m there to answer questions or provide guidance when you need it.

Together, we’ll develop the habits that are most important for your progress. This ensures the program is customized to your needs and desires while keeping you supported and on track every step of the way.

How do I know if I’m doing it all correctly? What if I need to ask questions?

You won’t be left guessing! With Online Coaching, you’ll receive clear, step-by-step instructions for every workout, including video demonstrations to ensure you know exactly how to perform each movement. If you’re unsure about something, you can message me directly through my app to ask questions or even send a video for feedback on your form.

Our regular check-ins also give us the chance to address any challenges and fine-tune your plan, so you’re always confident in what you’re doing and progressing toward your goals.

What if I don’t have access to a gym? Or if I’m traveling one week?

No gym? No problem. Your program will be tailored to the equipment and space you have available—whether that’s a full gym setup, a pair of dumbbells, or just your bodyweight. Although, if you’re open to it, I do recommend investing in a set of minibands and/or adjustable dumbbells, as they’re versatile and easy to store. That said, I’ll work with whatever you’ve got available.

If you’re traveling, I can adjust your workouts to fit your location, like hotel rooms, outdoor spaces, or whatever you have access to that week. The goal is to make fitness work for your life, not the other way around, so you can stay consistent no matter where you are.

What if I’m on vacation or sick one week?

Life happens, and your program is built with flexibility in mind. If you’re on vacation, we can adjust your workouts to fit your plans, whether that means lighter sessions, quick bodyweight routines, or even taking a well-deserved break to recharge.

If you’re feeling unwell, we can simply pause the program for a week, so it’s not counted against you. When you’re ready, we’ll pick up right where you left off and adjust as needed to help you ease back in.

How do we track my progress?

Your progress will be tracked through a combination of methods to give a clear and comprehensive view of your journey:

  • Weekly check-ins to review your progress and adjust your plan.

  • Performance tracking to monitor improvements in strength, endurance, and workout challenges.

  • Monthly measurements and photo diaries, guided by my private app, which shows exactly where to take measurements and how to pose for photos. These are securely stored in the app, viewable only by you and me.

  • Lifestyle metrics, such as energy levels, sleep quality, and habit-building.
